This page outlines the procedures for administering this site, regarding the processing of personal data of users who access it. It is an information notice prepared in pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 – Personal Data Protection Act. It applies to those users who access Le Basour, web services via address www.lebasour.com. The information notice is based on recommendation no. 2/2001 which the European authorities for the protection of personal data, brought together in the Group established by art. 29 of EC directive no. 95/46/CE, on 17 th May 2001 in order to identify a number of minimum requirements for on-line collection of personal data and specifically for the related procedures, time periods, and the nature of the data that the data controller must provide to the users when they access web pages, independently of the purposes of access. DATA CONTROLLER Following access to the site, the data related to identified or identifiable persons may be processed. Data processing connected with web services offered by this site shall take place at the aforementioned registered office and shall be dealt with only by the technical staff entrusted for this purpose or by persons that may be appointed for occasional maintenance purposes. The data deriving from the web service shall not be communicated or disseminated. The personal data provided by users who submit requests for the sending of informative material (mailing list, newsletter, replies to surveys, etc.) shall only be used for the purpose of performing the service requested and will not be communicated to third parties.
TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED Surfing data. The computer systems and software processes established prior to the operation of this site, collect during normal functioning, specific personal data and the transmission of which implies the use of Internet communication protocols. The information in question is not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects, but by virtue of its nature, may through processes and associations with data held by third parties, allow the identification of users. This category of data includes IP addresses or dominion names of computers operated by users to access the site, the URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, the time of request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained as a response, the numerical code indicating the state of the response given by the server(successful, error, etc.) and the other parameters relating to the operating system and to the users information technology environment. This data is used solely for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical data about the use of the site and to check its correct operation. The data may be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of possible data processing offences against the site. Data voluntarily provided by user. The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated in this site implies the subsequent acquisition of the senders email address, as well as possible other personal data present in the message, necessary for responding to requests.
COOKIES No personal data relating to users is acquired by the site. The session cookies used in this site avoid making use of other data processing technologies that may potentially affect the confidentiality of users surfing activities and do not permit the acquisition of personal data that identifies the user.
VOLUNTARY PROVISION OF DATA In addition to the above specifications regarding surfing data, the provision of data marked with an asterisk is considered to be required for the performance of services offered. The provision of other data is voluntary and therefore if not provided has no resulting consequence.
DATA PROCESSING METHOD The personal data is processed using automated methods to achieve the ends for which it was required. Specific security methods are adopted to prevent the loss of data, illicit or improper use and unauthorised access. The data received may be used on behalf of the data controller, by the administrators responsible for developing services and for the correct performance of site activities.
RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS The data subjects to whom the personal data applies have the right at anytime to obtain the confirmation of the existence or non-existence of such data and to know of its contents and origin, to check its accuracy and to request for it to be completed, updated or rectified (art. 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003) In accordance with the same article, the data subjects have the right to request the cancellation , transformation to anonymous form or the blocking of any data processed in breach of the law, as well as in any case, to object to its processing for legitimate reasons.
